Tour booking instructions
There is no additional fee or discounts for late bookings (made later than 6 weeks prior to trip commencement).
Due to a short travel season in Mongolia accommodation and facilities for travelers tend to be flooded. Therefore, arrangements are usually pre-booked with the local suppliers such as airline companies and hotels. Following charges will be withheld from your payment in case of cancellation on your end:
In case of cancelation
The cancelation fee will apply from the moment of trip order and the cancellation will apply only after a message in writing is received by the travel agency.
- 40-31 working days or more before arriving date 15% from the value of the whole tour package
- 30-15 calendar days before arriving date 25% from the value of the whole tour package
- 14-0 calendar days before arriving date 100% from the value of whole package
- 7 working days and less before arriving date 100% from the value of the whole tour package
In case the traveler cancels his/her arrival and trip more than 40 calendar days before arriving date the an administration fee of US$100-150 per person shall be deducted from the deposit.

Step 3. First, It is important to learn what is offered, included in that tour
Please make sure that you first read the general information and detailed itinerary of the tour carefully including the sections on price includes and price excludes Please be noted that for some tours we only publish brief description and itinerary. Please feel free to ask more details for such tours via email@example.com.
Step 4. Second, Check if the tour is available
Please check if the tour is available. Following indications show the tour status. Open, Guaranteed and Closed. In order to enable to tour there is a minimum number of participants and once the minimum number is reached, the trip status will change from “Open” to “Guaranteed”. The trip status is changed from Guaranteed to Closed when the maximum number of participants is reached. Please make sure if the tour is still Open or Guaranteed before you proceed with your international flight booking and other travel arrangements.
Step 5. Third, Booking Form
You can book the tour by filling in the Online Booking Section. Drop us an email or Leave a Message on our Contact us section if you have any difficulties to fill in the Online Booking Form. Upon the completed booking form is received an invoice shall be e-mailed to you.
Step 6. Then, Deposit payment
Your travel booking is confirmed by West Mongolia Travel upon receipt of a deposit of US$500. Deposit should be paid by a bank transfer to our bank account. Our bank account details are provided upon request via firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. When the deposited amount is received into our bank account we will confirm your participation by an e-mail notice and send Travel Policy and Agreement file and Briefing and Tips regarded with your tour.
Step 7. Last, Balance payment
You must ensure that you forward the balance of your payment to us 4 weeks prior to trip commencement. 6 weeks prior to trip commencement a final invoice will be sent to you by email attachment stating the due amount depending on the total number of participants who will have booked the tour by then. In case if more people book the tour (late bookings) later than 6 weeks before the tour commencement, an appropriate refund is given to you on your arrival in Mongolia.
